๐Ÿ”‘ The Keystone Habit That Changes Everything

And one that not only your 85-year old self will love you for... but your tomorrow self

What up, world! Welcome back to another Saturday Seeds episode (two weeks in a row - letโ€™s get it ๐ŸŒฑ)

Todayโ€™s piece features a special edition:

โ€œ๐’๐š๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐๐š๐ฒ ๐˜๐จ๐ ๐š ๐“๐ก๐จ๐ฎ๐ ๐ก๐ญ๐ฌโ€ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐‚๐จ๐ฅ๐ข๐ง ๐Ÿ’ญ

Where my thoughts typically run wild, drenched in sweat, racing 100 mph, and this was the latest version โฌ‡๏ธ

Little sweat inspo to kick things off ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Have you ever regretted a workout?

Me neither.

After ~9 years of training, an average 6 days/wk, and roughly 2,800+ workouts, still to this day Iโ€™ve never once finished a workout and thought, โ€œMan, I totally regret that.โ€

Thereโ€™s something powerful about moving, sweating, pushing yourself, and creating your ๐’๐’˜๐’ energy.

Itโ€™s therapeutic.

Reinvigorating.

Soul-replenishing.

Confidence-building.

Necessary.

My point is - working out, exercising, training, however you want to call it, significantly impacts your life in the best ways possible.

What author, Charles Duhigg, calls a โ€œkeystone habit.โ€

That one habit that positively impacts all other areas of your life (health, wealth, love, happiness, relationships, mood, energy, work - the list is endless)

So I encourage you to keep moving, keep sweating, keep training - and do it daily. Whatever that means for you.

Of course, be smart. Know your body. Listen to your body.

But keep moving ๐Ÿ’ฆ

Your 85-year old self will undoubtedly be glad you did, and will probably give anything to have just a couple more days in the bodies we have right now.

P.S. - yes, I use the word โ€œtrainingโ€ very intentionally, because my mindset and weekly activities always revolve around staying โ€œgame ready.โ€

We're always training for something... even if we don't know quite what it is.

โ€œGame readyโ€ to say โ€œyesโ€ to whatever life throws your way.

Like when you get the call to Climb Mount Rainier in one week because the conditions are perfect now.

Not next year or next month, but right now.

Game ready to seize the moment. Seize the opportunity.

The ability to confidently say โ€œYes,โ€ without hesitation, because weโ€™ve been training the mind, body, and spirit, day in and day out, for years.

And it all starts with the actions you take today, right now.

Happy Saturday Yoga ๐Ÿ˜Ž
